The Protected Marine Area of Plemmirio, established in Syracuse in the year 2004, stretches on a coastal perimeter of 14.35 km, along the eastern part of the Peninsula of the Maddalena, which is located at only 700 m from the hotel.

Our guests can plunge into the beauty of a clean and crystalline sea, classified as “ an especially protected area of Mediterranean interest”.

The area is characterized by a crystal clear water which allows us to enjoy the sea bottom with its rare species such as snappers, tuna fish, amberjack, sperm whales and dolphins.

Moreover, the sea bottom displays necks of amphorae and evidences of different ages, among which those of the last world war.
